Our team in Industrial Group is looking for a Quality Manufacturing Auditor to join them. You will report to the Project QA Engineer and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for a QA Manufacturing Auditor, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • An Associates Degree in a technical field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the operation of precision machines where a variety of inspection techniques are used OR, 3 years of quality experience.

As a QA Manufacturing Auditor, you will:

  • Perform audits to provide data that indicates the degree to which machinists, operators and special process operators are producing parts and performing job tasks in accordance with written instructions and procedures.
  • * Inspect piece parts during audits and performing various inspection tasks when requested.
  • * Perform complex inspection and layouts when required.
  • * Use a wide variety of gages and sophisticated measuring equipment (CMM, Roundness machine, Surface Analyzer, etc.) to inspect precision machined parts for conformance to blueprint, to verify new tooling and gaging and to help solve problems relating to the manufacturing or measurement processes.
  • * Support analytical and statistical applications by assisting production employees involved in control charting activities and by identifying potential sources of variation in order to assure that significant factors are included in engineering studies.
  • * Use and understand standard and nonstandard measuring equipment.
  • * Provide technical assistance and working closely with production supervision to obtain high quality workmanship from employees.
  • * Assist production supervision in training personnel relative to Quality procedures and inspection techniques.
  • * Assist in problemsolving activities to provide preliminary review support for nonconforming procedures, processes and activities during production with minimum supervision.

Salary Range:
  • * The salary range for this opportunity is $59,571.20 - $100,235.20

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance.
