Position handles LTL and MRO inbound processes with close interaction with Managers, Corporate and Southaven staff. This position requires the ability to perform these responsibilities in a safe, accurate and timely manner in accordance with Safety policy & procedures, Quality and the principles of 3Q6S, and time standards.

Job Description

  • Verifies the accuracy of incoming receipts from LTL and small package carriers
  • Performs receipts and put-aways both physically and in Oracle or I-Proc
  • Verifies the proper PO's to receive purchased goods against the documents
  • Responsible for maintain the matching edit report along with St. Louis corporate personnel for purchased goods
  • Responsible for verifying Certificates of Compliance and maintaining files of these certificates
  • Delivers items received in a timely fashion to the designated person or area
  • Responsible for receiving standard RMA's and properly moving the items physically and in Oracle; maintaining records of such
  • Communicate with foreign and domestic plants concerning inbound shipments.
  • Prioritize inbound shipments
  • Reports shipping discrepancies
  • Reports shortage to purchasing
  • Interfaces with Inside Sales to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follows all policies and procedures
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Job Details

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 2-3 years experience in warehousing/logistics required with previous experience handling administrative responsibilities; 1-2 years of which must include receiving administration experience.
  • 2 years experience utilizing WMS and MS Office in a fast paced work environment.
  • Valid Powered Industrial Truck Certification and ability to maintain certification.
