Job Description

This role will perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation in accordance with standard work and building procedures.

1. Works closely with Material Planner to understand prioritized jobs

2. Locates material/WIP inside plant on expedited list

3. Alerts Value Stream Team when problems arise preventing execution of the prioritized list

4. Ensure that prioritized material is being processed in a timely manner

5. Involved in problem solving activities to improve delivery to our customers

6. Knowledgeable of Value Stream manufacturing processes

7. Various forms of data collection

8. Exercise good housekeeping in work area 5S plus Safety

9. Support and participate in Parker's "Lean" initiatives. Keep work area, clean and organized.

10. Follow safety requirements and promotes sound safety practices; report all accidents and unsafe conditions and wear all Personal Protective Equipment.

Education required:

Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required

Experience:

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, percents, decimals and fractions using a calculator Self-motivated

2. Self-Directed with ability to work independently with little direction from supervisor

3. Able to effectively communicate with other.

4. Good organizational, mainframe and PC skills.

Skills/Competencies:

1. Computer experience to locate and enter information via computer

Physical Requirements:

1. Exert 25 pounds of force seldom, and/or

2. Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force sometimes.

3. Exert up to 10 to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

4. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.

5. Stand, walk, push, pull reach overhead and bend to the floor.
