Who we're looking for
Toyota's Production Control is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst to lead packaging development for new models and mass production.
Additionally, this position requires a driven individual who can make an accounting for all things within their scope, from KPI reporting to special initiative updates to Manager and Sr Management. Manage functions which include New Model projects (ECI, Buildout, Start Up).
Reporting to Keith Evans (Manager), this person will utilize the Production Control 5-year plan, Company /PC Planning Hoshin objectives, and Mgt direction to achieve/exceed Company, Dept, and Group Main KPI.
What you'll be doing
Manage operation/function. (What will be the key operational/functional responsibility):
1. New Packaging Development - Develop strategies for the management of packaging for New Model Projects from Kick-off to Start of Production. This includes concept planning/prototype development with existing or new packaging vendors, Final approval of concept with one voice agreement from all stakeholders (Conveyance, 3PL, Mfg shops, etc), manufacturing tracking and shipment of all packaging while achieving major milestones / KPI for the project.
2. Mass Production Packaging Maintenance / Kaizen - Develop Strategies to efficiently maintain packaging resources from TMMMS to Supplier while focusing on cost reduction. Kaizen current packaging improves Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost for the end user.
