How you will do it   

  • Maintain and expand your customer-based route for fire and life safety equipment while you grow the business and receive commissions on growth above and beyond base salary.
  • Perform inspections, servicing, repairs, and installations of fire suppression products including emergency lights, fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods and pre-engineered and industrial systems. Identify equipment deficiencies and address them to meet code requirements. 
  • Upsell new product offerings and services to existing customers to ensure compliance with current fire code regulations. Provide recommendations based on manufacturer's specifications and state/local codes. Develop and sell new accounts within your assigned geographical route area based on compliance criteria to offer suppression products and services. 

What we look for    
Required  

  • Previous experience in the Fire Protection industry,
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in congested and restricted areas.  
  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers  
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards.
  • Valid motor vehicle license. 
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • High School diploma / GED.  

Preferred  

  • NFPA Certified
  • NICET Certified
